Blackberry Playbook - An awesome device up for Grab

Tablet is one device that fits best between a Laptop and Smart phone. Though it was Apple which set the tablet market rolling with the launch of iPad, a number of new and innovative products have been off-let released in the Tablet market. Blackberry Playbook is an awesome Tablet device recently released in the market.


The device has dimension of 194 x 130 x 10 mm and weighs 425 g. Apparently, the light weight of this device is its biggest draw. It sports TFT capacitive touchscreen type display with 16M colors. This display has features like Multi-touch input method and Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate. Blackberry has a plethora of high end devices up its sleeve, Blackberry Bold Touch being one of them.


Though, Apple is considered as the leader in the tablet market wity more than 70% of tablet market share. This figure is expected to change given the kind of high end Tablet PCs being released by other manufacturers. There are a number of Tablet PC available in the market ranging from big screen device to light and portable devices.The device is available in 16, 32 and 64 GB of internal storage format with 1 GB RAM. The internal memory present on the phone is sufficient to take care of all your data needs including multimedia files. The set sports a number of connectivity options like Bluetooth, USB and Wi-Fi. With all these connectivity options present on the device,transferring data between this one and our perosnal Laptop or PC is not going to be a problem at all.

Blackberry Playbook is a dual camera device with a 5 MP primary camera having auto focus feature. There is also a 3 MP secondary camera for making video calls. This device runs on BlackBerry Tablet OS and is powered by 1GHz dual-core Cortex-A9 CPU. On the messaging front phone has different options like Email, Push Email and IM to name a few. This device is available in black color and has additional features like Micro HDMI port, Predictive text input, Document viewer, Video player supporting DivX/WMV/XviD/3gp formats, Media player supporting MP3/WMA/AAC+ and Adobe Flash 10.1 support.
