Samsung Focus is on sale from November 2010. The handset is fully equipped with latest features and blessed with Microsoft WP7 OS. Samsung Focus is a new member in the grand family of Samsung phones. The handset is on sales since November, 2010 and can be purchased at reasonable price via mobile phone deals. Focus is featured with a blend of many new and old features and has got very positive response through out the world for its display. It is compatible with 2g as well as 3G networks and hence it works on quad bands of GSM and tri-bands of HSDPA respectively. The overall dimensions of the handset measure 124.7 x 64.3 x 9.9 mm and it only weighs 119.4 grams. The design of the handset is very sleek and it has got slate form factor.
Samsung Focus is running Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 and powered by 1 GHz Scorpion processor. In addition there is an Adreno 200 GPU, Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon chipset for lightening fast graphical processing.
The front of the handset is bejewelled with 4.0 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with picture resolution 480 x 800 pixels. The display screen of the handset supports multi-touch input method and there are built-in Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate and Proximity sensor for auto turn-off.
The back panel of the handset is furnished with a decent 5 MP, 2592 x 1944 pixels built-in autofocus snapper together with an LED flash. The camera not only captures beautiful pictures but also record videos in high definition at 720p@25fps.
Samsung Focus is also blessed with massive internal memory storage that measures 8 GB storage with 512 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM. Moreover, if you want to expand the memory storage further up to 32GB then that can be done via microSD card slot provided in the handset.
For instant documentation, there is a built-in Microsoft office document viewer/editor in the handset. The entertainment section of the handset is furnished with a superb multimedia player that supports many audio and video file formats. Samsung Focus is also featured with Stereo FM radio with RDS for all time music fun.To access internet via this handset, various data bearers from 2G and 3G networks are supported in the handset.
